This is my blog about our long weekend trip to Okinawa. We left Hong Kong very early in the morning for the 2 hour direct flight on Hong Kong Airlines to Okinawa. Okinawa is the largest of the Ryukyu Islands, a chain of tropical Islands to the south of Japan. (Okinawa is in fact so far south that it is closer to Hong Kong than to Tokyo.)
